MinutioPrivacy policy
The short version. Minutio keeps every piece of information on the phone it was typed into. We do not run servers that receive your data, we do not have user accounts, and the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code. If you delete the app, the data goes with it.
Who we are
Minutio is made by Josep Salvat, an independent developer based in Barcelona, Spain (“we”, “us”). For anything in this policy you can write to feedback@minutio.app.
What the app stores, and where
Minutio needs a small amount of information to do its job. All of it is stored in the app’s private storage on your device and nowhere else.

The app does not ask for, and cannot access, your contacts, photos, location, microphone, camera or health data. It does not use your Apple ID. It does not collect device identifiers, crash reports or usage statistics, and it makes no network requests of its own.
Children
Minutio is designed to be installed and controlled by a parent or guardian. Children interact with it in kid mode, on the parent’s device, and kid mode cannot enter or change any personal information.
The only information about a child that the app holds is what the parent chooses to type: a first name (or nickname), an age and an emoji. It stays on the device. We never receive it, so we never process, sell or share children’s personal information. If you would rather not use real names, nicknames work just as well.
Sharing and third parties
We do not share your information with anyone, because we do not have it. The app includes no third‑party software development kits: no analytics, no advertising networks, no crash reporting services and no social features.
Apple may collect information about your download and use of the app through the App Store, in line with Apple’s privacy policy. That collection is controlled by Apple and by the settings on your device, not by Minutio.
Backups and moving to a new phone
Because the app’s data lives in its private storage, it is included in the backups your device already makes: iCloud Backup, if you have it turned on, and encrypted backups made with a Mac or PC. Those backups are made by Apple’s software under your Apple ID, and restoring one brings your Minutio data to a new phone. We do not have access to them.
To remove all Minutio data, delete the app from your device. It will also disappear from future backups.
This website
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers and Google receives the technical information that comes with any web request, such as your IP address; see Google Fonts’ privacy notes. The hosting provider that serves these pages may keep standard server logs for security purposes.
If you email us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to answer you, and we do not add you to any list.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation and similar laws you have rights to access, correct, delete and export your personal data. With Minutio, you exercise all of them directly on your device: everything the app holds is visible in the app, editable in Set up, and deleted by deleting the app. Since we hold no copy, there is nothing further for us to provide or erase, but you are welcome to write to us with any question, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos).
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Minutio ever adds a feature that sends data off the device, for example optional sync between two parents, we will update this policy first, explain exactly what is sent and why, and make the feature opt‑in. The date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.
