Terms of use

Effective 26 October 2026.

The short version. Minutio is a chore and reward chart for parents: you set the tasks and rewards, your children earn gems, and you decide. It needs a Minutio Premium subscription, bought and managed through the App Store, which renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple Account settings. We provide the app as it is, and we are not liable for what happens around the dinner table.

1. Who these terms are for

These terms are an agreement between you and Josep Salvat, Barcelona, Spain (“we”, “us”), and they apply to the Minutio app for iPhone and iPad (“the app”), to Minutio Premium and to this website. By downloading or using the app you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

The app is intended to be installed, set up and paid for by an adult parent or guardian. Children may use kid view under that adult’s supervision and on that adult’s device.

2. Licence

Your licence to use the app is granted under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”). These terms add to the Apple EULA; if the two conflict, the Apple EULA prevails. The app and everything in it, including its name, logo, characters, design and code, remain ours.

3. What the app does and does not do

Minutio keeps a tally of gems earned for tasks and spent on rewards, according to rules you set, and can remind you when tasks are due. It does not lock devices, block apps, monitor children or enforce anything. Whether a task was done, how many gems it is worth and whether a reward is fair are decisions made by you.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Your data

How the app stores your family’s information, on your device and in your iCloud, and the few things that leave your phone, is described in the privacy policy.

7. Availability and changes

We may release updates, change, add or remove features, and some updates may require a newer version of iOS. If we ever stop offering Minutio Premium, we will not renew subscriptions after that date. We may stop distributing the app altogether; if we do, your data stays on your device and in your iCloud.

8. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error‑free operation. This does not affect any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including lost data, and our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for Minutio Premium in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

10. Apple

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third‑party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer in the European Union you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change is material, we will point it out in the app or on this site before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app after that date means you accept the updated terms.
